Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: I saw that whenever Allah's Apostle (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) stood for the prayer, he used to raise both his hands up to the shoulders, and used to do the same on saying the Takbir for bowing and on raising his head from it and used to say, "Sami a-l-lahu Liman hamida". But he did not do that (i.e. raising his hands) in prostrations.

I said to the Prophet "May my parents be sacrificed for you! What do you say in the pause between Takbir and recitation?" The Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) said, "I say, 'Allahumma, ba'id baini wa baina khatayaya kama ba'adta baina-l-mashriqi wa-l-maghrib. Allahumma, naqqim min khatayaya kama yunaqqa-ththawbu-l-abyadu mina-ddanas. Allahumma, ighsil khatayaya bil-ma'i wa-th-thalji wal-barad (O Allah! Set me apart from my sins (faults) as the East and West are set apart from each other and clean me from sins as a white garment is cleaned of dirt (after thorough washing). O Allah! Wash off my sins with water, snow and hail.)"

Pearls of Wisdom

1. Worship has four characteristics: the fulfillment of pledges, observing the limits of the law, contentment with one's actual condition, and patience in the midst of loses. [Ibn Abbad]

2. Worship is a quality inherent in the servant, which prompts him to obey the Divine Commands, avoid what is forbidden, and be resigned to the Divine decrees. [Ibn Abbad]

3. You must understand that God more than substitutes for every transient thing. Indeed the one who finds God wants nothing else; but the one who loses Him possesses nothing. [Ibn Abbad]

Sahih Al - Bukhari Hadith

Good deeds are multiplied for those who follow Islam strictly

Assalammualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh brothers and sisters in Islam
All praises are due to Allah subhana wa taala The owner of the day of judgement, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

Sahih Al - Bukhari HadithVolume 1, Book 2, Number 40:
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) said, "If any one of you improve (follows strictly) his Islamic religion then his good deeds will be rewarded ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and a bad deed will be recorded as it is."

Sahih Al - Bukhari HadithVolume 1, Book 2, Number 43:
Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: Once a Jew said to me, "O the chief of believers! There is a verse in your Holy Book Which is read by all of you (Muslims), and had it been revealed to us, we would have taken that day (on which it was revealed as a day of celebration." 'Umar bin Al-Khattab asked, "Which is that verse?" The Jew replied, "This day I have perfected your religion For you, completed My favor upon you, And have chosen for you Islam as your religion." (5:3) 'Umar replied,"No doubt, we know when and where this verse was revealed to the Prophet. It was Friday and the Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) was standing at 'Arafat (i.e. the Day of Hajj)"

Sahih Al - Bukhari HadithVolume 1, Book 2, Number 49:
Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir: I heard Allah's Apostle (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) saying, 'Both legal and illegal things are evident but in between them there are doubtful (suspicious) things and most of the people have no knowledge about them. So whoever saves himself from these suspicious things saves his religion and his honor. And whoever indulges in these suspicious things is like a shepherd who grazes (his animals) near the Hima (private pasture) of someone else and at any moment he is liable to get in it. (O people!) Beware! Every king has a Hima and the Hima of Allah on the earth is His illegal (forbidden) things. Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart.

Sahih Al - Bukhari Hadith

Feed the poor

&

greet whom you know

&

whom you dont know

Assalammualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh brothers and sisters in islam.

Sahih Al - Bukhari HadithVolume 1, Book 2, Number 9:

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: The Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) said, "A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue and hands. And a Muhajir (emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden."

Sahih Al - Bukhari HadithVolume 1, Book 2, Number 11:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: A man asked the Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) , "What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?" The Prophet replied, 'To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not Know

Sahih Al - Bukhari HadithVolume 1, Book 2, Number 20: Narrated Anas: The Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) said, "Whoever possesses the following three qualities will taste the sweetness of faith: 1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle become dearer than anything else. 2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's sake. 3. Who hates to revert to disbelief (Atheism) after Allah has brought (saved) him out from it, as he hates to be thrown in fire."

Sahih Bukhari HadithVolume 1, Book 2, Number 30: Narrated Al-Ahnaf bin Qais:
While I was going to help this man ('Ali Ibn Abi Talib), Abu Bakra met me and asked, "Where are you going?" I replied, "I am going to help that person." He said, "Go back for I have heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'When two Muslims fight (meet) each other with their swords, both the murderer as well as the murdered will go to the Hell-fire.' I said, 'O Allah's Apostle! It is all right for the murderer but what about the murdered one?' Allah's Apostle (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) replied, "He surely had the intention to kill his companion."

We don't need a Staint Valentine's Day every year, we just need Prophet Mohammad's Day once in life.

And so, the Valentine's is an Identity issue. When somebody stops you in the street and asks you; "What's your Identity?" What would you reply? A Muslim? Well a Muslim has something special amongst people he has "عزة/Dignity", he doesn't just crawl after bones thrown to him from the west, Valentine's; ok, Halloween; fine, go to cinemas, I will, Mother's Day, cool...no brother, we Muslims has 2 Eids, Greater and Smaller and Specific events that Prophet Mohammad(PBUH) told us about like Day of Ashoura, Day of Arafa, etc.

Well if Allah, or Prophet Mohammad wanted to leave us a notice for committing ourselves to an International Love Day, you would surely find it in the Qur'an and The Sunnah like the other days are listed, not the opposite like some people say, the Qur'an wouldn't mention not making an International Chocolate Day, international Macaroni Day, international Horror day, it's just not worth mentioning, Qur'an mentions that everything we should need is in the Qur'an and in it's Verses, "مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِي ٱلكِتَٰبِ مِن شَيْءٍ" الأنعام 38". - We have neglected nothing in the Book (of Our decrees). [Al-An'am 6:38] That is beside a Husband-Wife Relationship is more honorable in Islam than a day.

If you look deeply into Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) and Mother Khadija (Radya Allahu 'Anha" Love Story, you will find that it was over a lifetime love story that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) kept mentioning her even after many years of her death. He never made a Love Day, but every day for them was a St.Valentine's Day, or more wisely a Prophet Mohammad's Day.

However, to see widely into this take a look at how the west deals with Valentine’s Day, it's typically a Sexual Relationship Day, taking women to the most inferior position they may ever get making her a Sexual Object and besides a method to sell Red TeddyBears worth Billions, why not, they find the Arab Youth silly enough for that.

Not mentioning that this Valentine's Day is related to a Saint and that would lead us to " Loyalty and Disloyalty" which is in the heart of our "عقيدة/Islamic Belief".

Ali ibn Abi Talib "Radiya Allahu Anhu" Said: "Knowledge is a dot that ignorant made it bigger"
